Christie Rieck, LCSW, ADHD-CCPS

I’m so glad you’ve made it here! Hi- I’m Christie.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is committed to helping clients find clarity and feel more confident in their daily lives. I offer a soft, yet direct approach with an eclectic style of treatment. Let’s acknowledge that we are all humans here, so together we may laugh, shed some tears, and prioritize the reasons that bring you into my virtual office.

I work with children and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges, high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In session together you will have a safe space to show up as your authentic self. I aim to provide an inclusive space for you no matter your gender, identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, or background. We will work together to seek alignment with your values, face some hard truths, develop your goals and together take steps towards reaching them.

For over six years, I worked as a clinical social worker in a Developmental and Behavioral Clinic at a local children’s hospital. In this role, I was part of an interdisciplinary team where I partnered with a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, conducting evaluations for Autism (ADOS-2), developmental delays, and ADHD. Beyond assessments, my focus was therapy—helping clients with neurodiversity, supporting parents through behavioral challenges, and working with children facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. By understanding the complexity of neurodiversity, I additionally helped develop a Complex-ADHD Clinic to support children with suspected ADHD and other medical and mental health related issues. These experiences shaped me as a clinician, which deepened my expertise in ADHD and Autism, and most importantly, taught me invaluable lessons from my clients.

While I loved my work in that setting, many years ago I realized that I have a passion for working with adults. So in walking the talk and seeking alignment with my path as a therapist, I joined a local private practice. I’ve spent roughly 5 years working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, high functioning Autism, life change, and individuals who may be healing from childhood trauma.

Now many years later, that path led to building this private practice with my therapist colleague, and here we are! I genuinely love what I do, and I’m grateful that this passion fuels the therapeutic work I offer to my clients.

So, if you’ve read through this far (especially if you have ADHD), feel free to reach out to me! I would love the privilege to get to know you and explore what challenges you may be facing.

A little more about me…

When I take off my therapist hat, I spend much of my time with my family including my spouse and new-ish little one! You will often find me pretending to want a hobby or two, and loving on my pets & Nespresso machine. I love traveling to natural places that make me slow down and remind me how teeny tiny we really are.

Now, when I do find the motivation, I love a good run, board games, and cheese boards, which that list sounds as chaotic and it is. But really, I am just trying to make it in the world like the rest of us - so heres to self growth and being human.
