Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need therapy?

As clinicians and humans, we strongly feel that therapy can be helpful for anyone! However, some signs that you may benefit from therapy include facing life stressors, experienced a traumatic experience, have friction in your relationship/s, you’ve been diagnosed with a mental health or medical condition, you want to improve your awareness/insight, or seeking support to reach your goals.

How many sessions do I need?

The number of sessions depends on your goals and needs. Some clients may find relief after a few sessions, while others may need longer-term support. Your therapist will work with you to determine the right length and frequency for you.

What is a Superbill?

A Superbill is a detailed receipt/invoice that I provide after your therapy sessions. It includes all the necessary information an insurance company needs in order to process a reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services. It is a clients responsibility to inquire if their insurance accepts out of network services and what their reimbursement would be.

How much are sessions and do you take insurance?

Yes! We accept insurance and offer Superbills.

Our out of pocket rate is $135/per therapy session.

Are ADHD Evaluations covered by insurance?

Due to the complexity of the evaluation and the time spent in and out of the appointment, ADHD evaluations are not accepted through insurance at this time. ADHD evaluations are a 90-minute appointment at an out of pocket rate of $300.

Although we do not accept insurance for the evaluation, we do offer ADHD related treatment through the insurances listed above. For more information, check out our page, ADHD Support, or contact us with any questions.
